Go-Ang Pratunam Chicken Rice at NEX is the Singapore outpost of a Bangkok institution, established in 1960 as a food stall in the Pratunam district specialising in Hainanese chicken rice. The original earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand in the inaugural Bangkok edition of the guide, and the brand opened its first Singapore doors in October 2018, giving Serangoon diners a taste of the Thai take on chicken rice. The signature is the aromatic Khao Man Gai, a Thai-Hainanese chicken rice best paired with the stall's secret homemade chilli sauce. The menu rounds out with sides such as vegetables, egg, fish and desserts, leaning into communal dining rather than a lone rice plate. Steamed chicken can fight with boon tong kee. Had the Feast for 2 set at $39.80. Dishes were served hot. Everything was good. Just take note that the tomyum fish soup is very very spicy.

Went to the outlets at Suntec and NEX and an pleased with their consistency and good value for money. Affordable and good chicken rice in aircon comfort, and a host of many other dishes. Wish the visit and I'll be back again and again.

Had lunch with the set for two at $39.90, consists of fish, plain omelette, chicken rice 2x with 1 plate of steam chicken and baby kailan. Personally it be nice if the chicken rice soup is hot and the steam chicken is still warm, it was rather cold. As such the four stars. However the portion is quite generous for two pax.

The chicken rice was really delicious. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the skin was smooth. The rice was fragrant and flavorful, especially with the chicken oil. I enjoyed the thai sauce.Overall, it was a satisfying and comforting meal, and I would definitely eat it again.
